The heavy rain that battered Bengaluru on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) evening claimed nine lives in three separate incidents. Seven persons were killed and seven others were injured after a portion of the compound wall of Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital collapsed during heavy rain in the city’s Shivajinagar area on Wednesday.
