The State government gave in-principle approval to the project as well as compensation package to farmers on Thursday.The Cabinet on Thursday agreed to provide a bank guarantee to a tune of ₹7,500 crore to the project that will entail acquisition of 7,404 acres in nine villages of Ramanagara taluk in Bengaluru South district.
