Judicial officer found dead in Delhi; probe launched

A Delhi Judicial Services officer died allegedly by suicide in the Safdarjung area, the police said on Saturday (May 2, 2026).A family member told the police that Aman Kumar Sharma, 30, had been serving as Secretary of District Legal Services Authorityat Karkardooma Courts since October 2025. According to official records, he has dealt with various criminal and civil matters while holding different jurisdiction as judicial magistrate first class and as a civil judge.
