Southern Railway achieved a significant milestone in 2025–26 with its Traction Distribution (TRD) assets registering their best-ever performance, reflecting a sharp improvement in reliability and maintenance standards across the zone.SR’s Senior Public Relations Officer D. Omprakash said: “Southern Railway recorded just three asset failures during the financial year 2025–26, a noteworthy reduction from 13 failures reported in 2024–25, translating into a 77% improvement.
