Documents certifying Koppal girl’s age for marriage fabricated

A case has been registered after authorities said that a forged school certificate was used to facilitate the marriage of a minor girl during a recent mass wedding ceremony in Talakeri village of Yelburga taluk, Koppal district.According to Deputy Commissioner Suresh B. Itnal, the incident came to light following reports of irregularities during the event at the Eshwar temple in the village.
