EAPCET 2026 engineering test records 93% attendance

The Telangana Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) 2026 for the engineering stream witnessed attendance rates of 93.44% and 93.05% in the first and second sessions, respectively, on Saturday.As per the schedule, the first session was conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the second session from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.The highest attendance was recorded in the districts of Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Bhadradri Kothagudem. Of the 34,823 candidates allotted for the morning session, 32,540 were present. In the afternoon session, 32,390 candidates appeared for the test.Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman V. Balakista Reddy, JNTUH Vice-Chancellor T. Kishen Kumar Reddy, TG EAPCET Convener K. Vijaya Kumar Reddy, and other officials were present during the initial configuration of the computer-based test.
