Palaniswami appeals to TVK regime to reduce sales tax rate on petrol, diesel & cooking gas cylinder

Palaniswami on Friday called upon the TVK government to reduce the rate of sales tax levied on petrol, diesel and domestic gas cylinders. In a post, Mr Palaniswami pointed out that the present regime claimed itself as “one that stands for change.” He also appealed to the Union government for lowering the prices of the fuel. Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam founder T.T.V. Dhinakaran and All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AIPTMMK) general secretary V.K. Sasikala urged the Centre to roll back the price hike.
