Heatwave alert in five Telangana districts, heavy rainfall forecast in nine districts on June 22

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall forecast for 11 Telangana districts for Wednesday (July 1, 2026).11 districts under health rainfall alertAccording to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Medak and Kamareddy districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts.Hyderabad weather forecastHyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy spells at one or two places accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city towards night.
