The data generated through the audit is expected to support future urban planning initiatives and climate-resilient development projects in the city.Further, as per the Budget proposal, a project titled ‘Haritha Residence’ will be formulated and implemented with the cooperation of residents’ associations. The detailed project plan will be prepared in consultation with the associations. The initiative, according to authorities, will help improve air and water quality within the Corporation limits. The Budget has also proposed renovating Mananchira under the City Beautification project and transforming it into the city’s natural “oxygen parlour”.
