Nurse stabbed to death by husband after domestic dispute in Uppal

The deceased was identified as Papithotti Jessica, 37, while the accused was identified as her husband, Papithotti Suresh, 42, a supervisor.According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s younger brother, Chettupalli Jepinayya, the couple, who married in 2015 and have a daughter, had been experiencing frequent marital disputes over the past few years. The complainant alleged that Suresh suspected his wife’s character despite repeated reconciliations.The complainant stated that Jessica had been staying overnight at Gandhi Hospital since June 28 to care for their ailing mother, who had been admitted for treatment, which further fuelled Suresh’s suspicions.Police said that at around 4 p.m. on Friday, an argument broke out between the couple at their residence. During the altercation, Suresh allegedly stabbed Jessica in the chest, left shoulder and arm, resulting in her death.After receiving information about the incident, the complainant rushed to the house and found his sister dead with multiple stab injuries.
