IUML president Kader Mohideen’s son passes away

K.M.K. Khalilur Rahman, 59, the eldest son of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) president K.M. Kader Mohideen, died in Tiruchi on Saturday (August 1, 2026) after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Rashida Banu, a son, and a daughter.As a tuberculosis scientist, he had worked in Saudi Arabia and Dubai for a while. He undertook various research projects during the COVID-19 pandemic.Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and DMK president M.K. Stalin spoke to Mr. Mohideen and offered their condolences.Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president B. Manickam Tagore, MDMK general secretary Vaiko, and State Ministers A.M. Shahjahan and P.
