AU to organise faculty development programme in biotechnology
The programme poster was unveiled by Vice-Chancellor G.P. Raja Sekhar at his office on Friday. Registrar K. Rambabu, Dean of Academic Affairs K. Srinivasa Rao, Dean of Research and Development V. Valli Kumari and Head of the Department of Biotechnology P. Radhika were present.According to Ms Radhika, the programme will focus on applications of artificial intelligence in biotechnology, fermentation technology and biomanufacturing through expert lectures and interactive technical sessions. It is intended for faculty members of universities and affiliated colleges, particularly those affiliated with Andhra University, in the fields of biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry and other life sciences.
