Man held for alleged loan fraud in Kochi

The arrested is Anoop C.J., a resident of Malippuram, Elamkunnapuzha, and a gold appraiser at the Karuthedam Rural Service Cooperative Society.He allegedly misused his position to record that the bank had accepted 1,565.9 grams of gold as collateral between January 2014 and June 2024, issuing loans against the fake pledges.
