Anna University partners with Boeing India to establish Flammability Learning Laboratory

Santhakumar signed the MoU on September 22. Anna University’s Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) Campus recently signed an MoU with Boeing India Pvt. Ltd. (BIPL) for establishing a Flammability Learning Laboratory. The proposed facility is envisioned as a globally unique laboratory and the first dedicated academic facility of its kind for flammability research, testing, and training within an academic institution. A press release said the agreement, signed on September 22, would provide MIT students with opportunities to gain advanced knowledge and practical skills in flammability science and safety. The laboratory is also expected to strengthen academic-industry collaboration and support research, training, and innovation in aerospace flammability.
