Karimnagar marathon spreads message of health, drug-free society

Runners take part in the Karimnagar Half Marathon in Karimnagar on Sunday. Organised by the Karimnagar Runners and Cyclists Association (KRCA), the fourth edition Karimnagar Marathon-2026 saw runners of different age groups participate in large numbers. R. Ambedkar Stadium before dawn. V. Venugopal of the Telangana High Court flagged off the marathon. Peddapalli Collector Koya Sree Harsha and others were present. A pledge was administered to the participants to combat the menace of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society under the aegis of the Eagle Force, Telangana Police’s drug law-enforcement initiative.
