Karnataka youth achieves impressive feat in Shanghai World Skills Competition

Nine candidates from Karnataka have secured international honours in the 48th World Skills Competition held in Shanghai, China. A contingent of 16 candidates represented Karnataka in the Team India contingent. They secured one silver medal, with the prestigious ‘Best of Nation’ trophy for India, and eight Medallions of Excellence (MoE) across four advanced engineering and industrial skills.
